I just accepted an offer on my 99 4x4 k miles, in the wrapper for Great tow vehicles, however. For the right bucks, you'll love it! Send a private message to Shark Find More Posts by Shark Great tow vehicle, but daddy0 is right - don't tow in overdrive. The tranny is decent, but will overheat and die early if you tow in OD.

A friend sold one similar a year or so ago for 8 K--about the same mileage. You might benefit from a larger cooler. I will probably make a reasonable offer and if the seller feels that his truck is worth more than I will keep looking. I had the same truck as you said and pulled everything with it.

I sold mine for 11k 2 years ago with 75k miles on it, plus it was lifted with big tires, etc. The tranny is the best part of this truck, probably one of GM's best, the 4L80E.

It was a computer controlled transmission with excellent shift quality and held the gears good while towing. Always pulled in overdrive, never had a problem but would shift into 3 when it started to hunt.
